Make the festive season memorable for the elderly

The founder also thanked everyone who gave food parcels which she donated to the residents at the beginning of the pandemic.

A Putfontein NPO is seeking donations to host a Christmas party for the elderly residents of Mayfield on December 11.

Samukelo Tshabalala, the founder of Samukelo Esihle Community Project, said the party is a way of bringing joy to the elderly and also to commemorate the month of giving.

“The donations will help her put a smile on the faces of 100 grandmothers and grandfathers who are needy and always taking care of their families,” said Tshabalala.

Tshabalala also thanked everyone who gave food parcels which were donated to the residents at the beginning of the pandemic.

The NPO would appreciate any donation of food, gifts for the elderly, toiletries, or any items suitable for the elderly.

The Christmas party will be held at 4556 Mayfield, Extension Six, Putfontein, from 10am.
