Mayor of Ekurhuleni Mzwandile Masina and the MMC for Environmental Resource and Waste Management, Khosi Mabaso, officially reopened the Bunny Park this morning (December 4).
Mabaso delivered the project overview to all who attended the re-opening and gave special thanks to Tanya Forrest-Smith, founder of the Bunny Park Rescue Team, while Masina delivered the keynote address.
He highlighted that the park belongs to everyone and the decision to reopen this park was for the community to enjoy the festive season and make use of the facilities the Bunny Park has to offer.
