Child welfare raises over R3 000 on cupcake sales

The Greater Benoni Child Welfare raised R3 707.50 through their ‘Cupcake for a cause fund-raiser’.

The initiative ran for the fourth year in a row and funds raised were used to pay for necessities at the organisation.

Director Vanessa Carlse thanks all those who supported the drive and hopes to sell 1 000 cupcakes next year.

The delicious cupcakes were supplied by Cake Extreme in Benoni and sold to the organisation at a discounted rate.
