Local day care receives donation
Biemba suggested the assistance to alleviate the stress of not being able to provide the proper nutrition to the children attending the day care.
The 100% Foundation recently donated nutritious food items to the Nomzamo Day Care in Kingsway.
“The early childhood development (ECD) centre director called me to talk about the challenges due to Covid and how they have had no funding, therefore finances are creating a huge worry,” said Janap Biemba, the senior development and projects coordinator of 100% Foundation.

Biemba suggested assistance to alleviate the stress of not being able to provide the proper nutrition to the children attending the daycare.
“For the children, school is an alternative place to receive three meals a day,” she said.
“We have donated non-perishable food for now and hygiene products will follow.”
The 100% Foundation began supporting this daycare centre in 2018 and have said they will continue assisting for as long as they require the help.
