The Almond Tree Children’s Village/Home presents their annual Carols by Candlelight with an added twist this year in the form of a festive market on November 26.
All funds raised will go to the home.
The home’s development manager, Zina Rotherham, said you can expect a live band perfectly positioned in the almond tree forest singing your favourite Christmas carols under a starlit sky.
“Bring your picnic blanket or chair and mozzie spray. Enjoy our festive outdoor Christmas market with up to 50 vendors presenting food, beverages and various exciting products to suit all tastes and interests.
“A children’s play area, with a jumping castle and play equipment, will be available next to the carols field to keep your children entertained.”
The entrance fee is R100 per car and a bag of nappies or wet wipes for the Almond Tree babies (bookings can be made on Quicket.co.za – The Almond Tree).
The market will be trading from 17:00 to 21:00. The Carols by Candlelight will be presented between 19:00 and 20:00.
Free secure parking will be available and Covid protocols will be followed. Temperatures will be taken at the entrance to the village.
“Invite your family and friends and join us for a night of festive family fun,” concluded Zina.
