Hoërskool Hans Moore hosted a fund-raiser recently for Gerrie le Grange, the school’s coach, who was diagnosed with leiomyo sarcoma (stage four) cancer, which led to his leg being amputated on June 30.
Annerie Keulder, marketing manager of the school, said that they organised the fund-raiser because they wanted to contribute to an automatic car for him.
“We would like to thank the community for its involvement and support with the Le Grange Legend Race.
“We managed to raise R32 850, with donations still coming in. Every contribution, big or small, is highly appreciated,” said Michelle Pitout, the event organiser.
Everyone is welcome to still donate to this cause by contacting michelle@hansmoore.co.za or charlene@hansmoore.co.za
