Christmas comes early for Benoni’s elderly

The 100% Foundation thought it important to bring early Christmas cheer to Benoni’s elderly in December.
Senior development and project coordinator Janap Biemba said the 350 elderly were selected from the beneficiary NGOs it supports.
“All these senior citizens received a hamper consisting of butternut, cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots and beetroot, put together by an amazing volunteer team.
“The NGO beneficiaries were Masizakhe Community Services, Sukuma Mbokodo, Windmill Multipurpose Centre and Kamohau Project,” Janap explained.
