Three arrested for possession of drugs

Three people were arrested over the past weekend on charges of possession of drugs.

According to WO Grant Giblin, spokesperson for the Benoni Flying Squad, the arrests were affected in Emaphupheni, Etwatwa.

“The suspects were remanded in police custody and will appear in court,” he said.

During the same operations, a white Volkswagen Polo was recovered in Extension 13, Vosloorus.

“The vehicle had been reported as hijacked in Tsakani,” he said.
