Two Daveyton-based schools, Lesiba Secondary School and Unity Secondary School, said they were pleased with their 2021 matric pass rate.
Lesiba Secondary achieved an overall pass rate of 90.32 %. This is an improvement from the 2020 pass rate of 78%.
Out of the 210 learners who sat for their exams, a total of 147 learners attained bachelor’s degree passes, while 90 learners attained diploma passes.
Meanwhile, Unity Secondary achieved an overall pass rate of 85.9% and 157 bachelor’s degree passes.
