Man dies in truck collision

A man in his 30s died after his car collided with a truck on Snake Road on April 29.

According to ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell, ER24 paramedics, accompanied by a Life ALS paramedic, arrived at the scene at 17:36 where they found an Audi and a truck, in the middle of the road.

“Unfortunately, the driver of the Audi, who was still in the vehicle, showed no signs of life and declared dead on arrival.

“The truck driver was unharmed in the incident,“ said Campbell.

Members of Fire Department and Law Enforcement were on scene to investigate.
