Lucky raffle ticket winner chosen

The Benoni SPCA recently announced its winner for the Easter egg hamper, following a draw where Paddy Hennessey’s lucky ticket no 17 was drawn.

She and other pet lovers bought raffle tickets at the SPCA’s fund-raiser event, the After Easter Into Autumn market, on April 26.
Hennessey won a basket of Easter eggs and other treats, which was donated to the SPCA.

SPCA chairperson Diane Wooldridge said: “We would like to thank our sub-committees who worked tirelessly to make the event a success and those who bought tickets in support of the raffle.”
