Pug Rescue SA hosted the Spoil a Rescue and South Africa’s Amazing Pug Race events on May 29.
During the Spoil a Rescue event, participants had the opportunity to spend quality time with the rescues, pampering and showing them love.
This was followed by the amazing race where they were shown how to coach the pugs to race and crawl through the tunnels.
“The rescues were given a treat, lots of attention and love. All the people who came had a fantastic time,” said Pug Rescue SA fundraiser Lezelle Mills.
Pug Rescue will host the Red Hot Winter Market fund-raising event on June 4, at 80/1 Nielsen Road, Benoni North Agricultural Holdings.
“There will be exciting stalls, hot chocolate, pancakes and a red hot book sale with a R200 book voucher up for grabs.
“The highlight of the day will be the dress up competition. The theme is chill-wear or loungewear and we are daring people to come dressed in their pyjamas,” added Mills.
The event starts at 09:00 until 14:00.
