Technicians at Rand Water are scheduled to install new equipment at the Mapleton booster pump station on July 20 from 06:00 to July 21 at 04:00.
Affected areas are Morehill, Crystal Park, Hillcrest, Benoni AH, Cloverdene, Chief Albert Luthuli, Daveyton, Mayfield and Etwatwa.
According to metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, a total of six water roving tankers will supply water to the affected residents.
