Armed with a hockey stick, Carike Figoli (33) is a dedicated player for the Benoni Northerns’ Stick Figures, businesswoman, wife and mom. But she is swapping her trainers for elegant evening wear to participate in the semi-finals of the Mrs Universe South Africa 2023 pageant. Passionate about the empowerment of women, she hopes that by taking part in the pageant, she will be able to inspire women, while raising awareness for charities assisting victims of domestic violence and abuse.
