Benoni SAPS welcomes new VISPOL members
The new members aim to work towards creating a safer city to the benefit of the community.
The Benoni Police Station’s Visible Policing (VISPOL) unit has added two new members to the division.
Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Moya, formerly from Norkem Park and Lieutenant Colonel Lusha Govender, formerly from Brakpan, have been appointed within the unit on an operational and administrative level.
Working with various stakeholders, conducting operational partnership policing, the pair aim to saturate problem areas with police boots in order to successfully reduce and stamp out crime.
