Lions’ recycling hub closed during holidays

Recycling can once again be dropped off at the hub from April 12.

The Benoni Lakes Loins Club’s Recycling Hub and e-waste drop-off point at Belvedere School, Farrarmere, will be closed until April 12, due to the school holidays.

They officially launched the collection point in September last year and it forms part of the organisation’s five pillars, which include caring for the environment.

The hub housed on the school grounds is a collection point for electronic waste, plastics and glass.

It is the vision of the club to continue serving the community by caring for the environment and ultimately creating dedicated recycling hubs throughout the city.

Residents are urged to only drop recyclable goods off at the hub. No household refuse will be accepted.
