Note new numbers for Benoni SAPS

After nearly a year of not having any working telephone lines, the Benoni Police Station has new phone numbers.

Although it will now be easier to contact the client service centre, Captain Nomsa Sekele, spokesperson for the police station, states that the numbers do not work during load-shedding.

“We had no choice but to move to digital telephone systems, but these, unfortunately, are affected by power outages,” she said.

“In this case, members of the community can make use of the alternative cellphone number.”

The new numbers for the police station are 011 747 0014, 011 747 0015 or 065 740 2159.
