Farrarmere resident Rosemary Eve is a global award-winner
The Benoni resident went head-to-head with leaders from across the world.
Farramere resident Rosemary Eve recently won big at the prestigious Desh Bandhu Gupta Spirit of Lupin Awards.
The awards were held virtually, and the winners received their trophies at a gala dinner in Cape Town.
Eve works for Pharmadynamics, the largest cardiovascular pharmaceutical company owned by Lupin, based in India.
She was nominated for the regional round and then qualified for the global round comprising other nominees from Africa and Eastern Europe in the teamwork and leadership category.

The awards recognise those employees who embody Lupin’s core values.
“The awards distinguish performance based on unique ideas, thoughtful solutions and the committed work of employees who support the six core beliefs of the company. And each year, teams across Lupin nominate high achievers whose work represents these beliefs” said Eve.
Eve said she was scrutinised by a panel of leaders from across the world, then made it through and won the global award for senior territory manager.
“I am proud of my work ethic. No matter what I do, I remain humble and respectful of others,” said Eve.
The 52-year-old was born in Zimbabwe, and her family moved to South Africa in 1981.
She started her medical career at Adcock Ingram in 1997 and then worked for GlaxoSmithKline.
“I then moved to Pharmadynamics in 2005, where I worked in the doctor detail team for 10 years and then moved to retail pharmacy,” Eve explained.
