Farmyard comes to elderly residents

Various animals came to visit some of the city’s elderly.

Eddy House Methodist Home for the Aged residents giggled and laughed when Farm Corner brought some of its furry farmyard critters for a visit.

Eileen Boyden wills the sheep to give her some wool.

Geese clucked, and piglets squealed when they surrounded residents, who happily fed them crunchy carrots and green leafy nibbles.

Aletta Mullenders cozies up to a delightful donkey.

Grazing in the shadows of the home’s gigantic trees, the donkey, pony, calf, sheep, rabbits, guinea pig and goats enjoyed interacting with the residents, with some letting out delightful bleats.
