“I really enjoyed the race. I won it last year, so I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could do it again. The route was great, with ups and downs. Running over the highway (N12) was a highlight for me,” he said.
This was his third podium after finishing second in 21:21 during the BNAC Marathon on April 21 and clocking 21:00 at the Colgate Race on May 5 to win the U14 category. He finished fifth overall.
