Sensei chuffed after students pass grading

"Their grit and determination really deserves a standing ovation."

The Lotus Karate Club chief instructor, sensei Raveen Dayaram, thanked his students for working hard to pass their grading on June 22.

Around 13 karateka from club graded to their blue, orange and yellow belts.

Dayaram said he is extremely proud of the karateka for their dedication and commitment to the sport, adding they always represent the club with distinction.

“The students have been working hard in their training to keep up with the high standards of SASKA. Their grit and determination really deserves a standing ovation,” said Dayaram.

“I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all the effort they have put into their grading so far this year. All our students who attended the grading passed and have graded to their next belts.”
