Northmead and surrounds to be affected by planned power outage tomorrow

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) technicians will conduct planned maintenance of the electrical components at the Northmead substation tomorrow (July 13) from 08:00 until midnight.

This maintenance will affect the power supply to customers in the residential area and agricultural holdings.

The areas that will be affected are:

• Entire Northmead
• Parts of Farrarmere
• Parts of Rynfield
• Parts of Morehill
• Benoni Agricultural Holdings

The municipality advices customers to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
