The Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) veteran runner Jane Neilson won the women’s grandmasters (60+) 15km race at the Tommy Malone Memorial Road Race at Boksburg City Stadium on October 13. Nielson arrived at the finish in 01:21:46 for her victory, ahead of Mariet Geyer (second, left), who clocked 01:25:48 for second place. Lynda Kirkland (right) crossed the line in 01:36:56 to round up the podium. Nielson was the 15th lady at the finish out of 190 women who took part in the main race and finished the event 89th overall.
