SPARK Rynfield support Kids Haven with food donations

The school dedicated the third term to making a positive impact in the community.

SPARK Rynfield recently donated food items to Kids Haven, a local children’s home that protects and cares for children in crisis.

This came after learners, teachers and parents were encouraged to help those in need by donating canned food, teabags, coffee, and dry cereals as part of SPARK Rynfield’s 2024 #100BoxesforMadiba campaign.

The school dedicated the third term to making a positive impact in the community.

Standing next to the donated food is Thembeka Ramolibe (assistant principal), Koketso Matsebedi (office manager), Vuyelwa Tau (principal), Thabang Mthembu from Kids Haven, and SPARK Rynfield School operations manager Matthews Molapo.

Vuyelwa Tau, SPARK Rynfield principal, said: “SPARK Schools is committed to nurturing scholars who are responsible, persistent, and kind, and who positively contribute to South Africa’s future. We are proud to witness these acts of generosity from our school community, who have made a positive impact on the lives of children in need through their donations.”
