Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig increases its matric pass rate

The Matric Class of 2024 at Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig has achieved a remarkable improvement, with an overall pass rate of 78.6%. This marks a significant increase from the 62.7% recorded in 2023.

School principal Marietjie Smith said the 16% increase highlights the effectiveness of the strategies implemented to support learners.

“We are joyous and elated at the amazing improvement our school has achieved. We are hopeful for more growth. Our strategies included individual motivation sessions, collaboration with neighbouring schools, and an intensified focus on educator efforts,” said Smith.
