Manhunt launched for gunman who killed queue marshal

Police are still on the lookout for the gunman who shot and killed a queue marshal at the Las Vegas Taxi Rank in Etwatwa earlier this month.

Etwatwa SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Barbra Ndaba said the victim was sitting in the shade at the taxi rank when an unknown man appeared and fired several shots at him.

“According to eyewitnesses, the victim tried to escape but failed and collapsed. The motive behind the shooting is unknown,” said Ndaba.

Police are investigating the case as murder.
