Temple market a delight for the taste buds

Devotees flocked to the temple to engage in prayer and offering support for the board’s fundraising initiative.

The scent of freshly made biryani enveloped Actonville’s Shree Arulmigu Arthanareeswarar Kovil, beckoning devotees to spend a little more time on the temple grounds following their Good Friday Marieamman prayer.

With warm jackets slung over intricately adored sarees, temple goers made their way to the Benoni Tamil School Board’s (BTSB) annual market, on April 18, indulging in staples like chilli bites and samosas while browsing stalls offering handmade jewellery and other items related to the Hindu faith.
