Kaitlyn Bubb clinched the women’s half marathon at the Hoka Half Runfest at the Harlequin Rugby Club in Groenkloef, Pretoria, on May 3.
The Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) top runner set the field alight with a blistering 01:22:42 to finish sixth overall and victorious in the women’s race.

She finished ahead of Maryke van Zyl, who was just three seconds off the pace after crossing the line in 01:22:45.
Two days after winning the MNS Attorneys Carnival City Marathon 21km race on May 1, Alberton Athletic Club’s Deneke Snyman continued her rich vein of form with another fine performance. She rounded up the podium in podium in Pretoria in 01:26:43.
