Nate Lerwill: I’m honoured to play baseball for South Africa at the world cup. This has been my dream, and to achieve it at 12 years old is an even greater honour. I’m looking forward to playing against teams from all over the world, learning new skills and meeting new people.
Jarred Long: It means everything to me. It’s such a huge honour to wear the green and gold and play for my country. I’ve worked really hard to get here. Knowing that I get to stand on the field with the South African flag on my chest makes me super proud.
