Concordia youngsters clinch red dot ball tourney

The tournament featured children eight years and younger.

Laerskool Concordia emerged victorious in the annual Gauteng East Tennis Association (GETA) red dot ball tournament, held at the GETA Complex on August 8.

The development event, aimed at players aged eight and under who are just starting out in tennis, saw participation from eight primary schools in the region, with each team made up of four players.

The runners-up Laerskool Selection Park A.

Laerskool Selection Park finished as runners-up.

GETA development chairperson Karen McRae said the day was a great success, adding that the youngsters displayed outstanding talent.
