Senseis Chris and Christopher Anthony of the Dan Triangle Karate Club expressed pride after four students were selected to represent South Africa at the Karatenomichi World Federation (KWF) Championships in Japan on October 5. This is after earning their KWF South Africa colours recently. The quartet, Bradley Ruthven, Christopher Thela, Gianluca del Grosso and Cade Horn (pictured with sensei Chris Anthony, centre), will attend advanced training seminars led by KWF chief instructor Shihan Mikio Yahara (10th Dan) and Shihan Malcolm Dorfman (9th Dan) — a valuable opportunity to learn from some of the world’s highest-ranking karate masters.
