Financial gurus knock the socks off

The local business created a fun atmosphere in support of charity.

In celebration of PNA’s Funky Socks Day (September 12), the staff of Megryan Financial Services, in Northmead, went dotty to show their support.

The annual fundraising initiative set a target of raising R2.5m, aimed at empowering vulnerable children, supporting young cancer patients, promoting literacy and uplifting early childhood infrastructure, across SA.

Funds raised benefitted Breadline Africa, CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation), Rally to Read and Matla a Bana.

While some Megryan staff donned sparkling and wacky socks others let their creativity take flight, creating colourful sock puppets with larger than life personalities, which added to the day’s festivities.
