GRAPHIC WARNING: Three killed in BMW crash in Daveyton

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.

Three men died in the early hours of Saturday morning (November 1) after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a concrete wall at the corner of Heald and Sigalo streets in Daveyton.

The collision occurred at around 02:54.

EMPD media liaison officer Lerato Monyane said officers from the accident bureau arrived at the scene to find a BMW sedan reduced to debris.

“It is alleged that the vehicle had been travelling westbound when it collided with a concrete wall. There were three male occupants, the driver and two passengers. They were certified deceased on the scene by the medical team,” said Monyane.

Emergency services and EMPD officers worked to secure the scene and assist with traffic flow.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
