Dan Triangle karateka grade up

The karateka did the traditional initiation of 10 fights before being given their belts.

The Dan Triangle’s Rajan Padayachee, Devi Moodley, Chris Anthony, and Wilbroad Mulenga earned their first black belts at a Karatenomichi World Federation (KWF) South Africa national grading ceremony on November 8.

Led by KWF SA chief instructor Shihan Michael Dorfman, the group underwent the traditional initiation of 10 fights, regarded as a true test of spirit, endurance, and skill, before officially receiving their shodan belts.

“We are extremely proud of their dedication, discipline, and hard work. Congratulations to all,” said Dan Triangle instructor sensei Chris Anthony.
