WATCH: inGCO Concept Store now open in Benoni
The new concept store is a DIY enthusiast’s dream come true.
Ladies do not fret if your husbands snuck out of the house at midnight last night (November 21), they were outside brite Electrical & Lighting, in Goedeburg, waiting for this morning’s (November 22) the launch of the inGCO Concept Store.
Handymen, DIY fanatics and lovers of power tools lined Goud Street from just before midnight, to secure their spot at the front of the queue, to get their hands on out-of-this-world specials.

Waseem Bhana, owner of brite Electrical Lighting as well as the new concept store, said he is overwhelmed by the community’s support.
“As a family-run business for the past 22 years, we have always strived to serve our community with pride,” he said, shortly before the official ribbon cutting at 08:00.

“We jumped at the opportunity to open the sixth concept store, of this nature, in South Africa. Power tools are not often associated with lighting and electrical outlet, but no matter the job you need to have the right tools.
“We look forward to broadening our business while continuing to offer excellent service to our clients.”
First in line to take advantage of the day’s special offers, Heinrich Larkins, of Witbank, said he arrived at the outlet at 23:30.
“I guarded my spot for dear life,” he said.
Surviving on energy drinks and snacks, Warren Naidoo of Randburg said he will be using his new combo toolsets to build a herb garden.

Arriving in Benoni at 03:10 this morning, Cassie Botes said a back injury would not deter him from attending the opening .
“We passed the time chatting among each other and sharing our bounty of biltong,” he said.

To further celebrate the auspicious occasion, the first 50 customers received a 350Nm Impact wrench kit valued at R1 500.
The store is open Monday to Thrursday 07:30 to 16:45, Friday 07:30 to 11:50 and 14:10 to 16:45 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00. The store is closed on Sundays.
