Senior lady golfers spread festive cheer at Kuselo

The donation marks another chapter in the ESWG’s commitment to uplifting local organisations and ensuring the youngest members of the community feel the warmth of Christmas.

The spirit of giving was evident when the Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf Society (ESWG) recently gave a substantial donation to the Kuselo Child and Youth Care Services in Boksburg North.

The society had collected the donations at its annual Christmas competition and prize-giving at the Benoni Country Club recently.

For the past three years, the senior ladies have supported Kuselo. ESWG president Charmaine Stone said this year’s generosity exceeded expectations.

“The senior lady golfers were extremely generous and the donations received were incredible. Thank you all for your continued support and generosity.”

The committee delivered an assortment of essentials, including knitted jerseys, warm blankets, milk formula and clothing to the children and youth organisation.

Members also contributed R3 500, which allowed the committee to buy more necessities, such as nappies, food, baby formula and more clothing.

Ebbiegail Kramm, Kuselo’s operations manager, appreciated the continued support.

“This donation closes so many gaps for us. It is a blessing, and we are grateful for being chosen as beneficiaries.

“I also want to emphasise that no donation is too small. The public is welcome to drop off whatever they can. We will certainly put it to good use.”
