Rotary E-Club inducts new members
The digital format allows Rotarians to serve across the East Rand.
Since its establishment in 2019, the Rotary East Rand E-Club has grown from strength to strength.
Despite meeting virtually, the Rotarians remain committed to the organisation’s five pillars of service.
Supporting ongoing projects such as Be Court Wise, Angel Wings, a home for destitute adults and children, The Salvation Army Benoni Goodwill Centre, local old age homes, as well as two interact clubs at Willowmore High and Liverpool Secondary School, the club continues in extending a helping hand to those in need while offering mentorship and leadership skills to the youth.
A testament to the club’s efforts lies in its ability to welcome new members into its fellowship.
Iris Afana and Lorraine Sibanda were recently inducted as members of the club, adding their passion, skills and drive to be of service to others to the fledging organisation.
