Snip, shave or colour, it is CANSA Shavathon time again

Make a statement in support for cancer patients.

Express yourself through colour or make a ‘bald’ statement in support of The Humanity Foundation’s third annual CANSA Shavathon.

Armed with clippers and donning their customary purple shirts, the support organisation is hoping to break its previous record of R10 000, which was raised in 2024.

On February 28, from 09:00 to noon, members of the community are encouraged to support the 24th annual Shavathon, thus making a tangible contribution to the lives of those facing the life-threatening disease.

Hair will once again fly outside Pick n Pay, Farrarmere Shopping Centre, in Sheridan Street.
All proceeds of the day are in support of CANSA.

So bring a buddy, the family, geez bring the entire rugby squad and show your support for those who have overcome, succumbed or still fighting the brave fight.
