Be a Wizard of Walk for the elderly

Be part of this fundraising initiative.

Village Walk Retirement Estate invites family and friends of its residents and the general public to join in the festivities at its Wizard of Walk Fun Walk on October 10.

The event is a fundraising initiative to purchase patio chairs for the outdoor area of the frail care facility to create a comfortable and welcoming space where residents can enjoy time outdoors and socialise.

Vivalon Care, the facilities healthcare service provider, is hosting the event in collaboration with other stakeholders.

A marked-out route will form a “yellow brick road” using yellow ribbon and participants will be refreshed at water points along the way.

There will be prizes too!

How to get your ticket/what you need to know:

Date: October 10
Venue: Village Walk, Kirschner Road, Brentwood Park
Time: 09:00 to 12:00 (walk is from 09:00 to 10:00, followed by prizegiving, a show with a special guest performer and a market in the hall).
