The Benoni City Times was on scene at a house in Fairleads, Benoni, this afternoon where two women were shot dead.

The police confirmed that a 56-year-old domestic worker and a 22-year-old woman were shot and killed at this premises, just after 12:00 today (January 22).

Another victim, a woman, believed to be the domestic worker’s employer, was airlifted to hospital with gunshot wounds.

According to a well-placed source from the SAPS, the shootings are linked to a fatal shooting that took place this afternoon in Bredell, Kempton Park, in which an elderly couple was killed.

Four of the victims are apparently related.
