Benoni High School’s equestrian team came second in their category and received numerous awards at the annual South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) awards evening.
Cara Jackson and Cassandra Benn both received regional colours for their participation in the Gauteng championships.
The riders also qualified to attend the national championships.
Benn further received the victor ludorum and came sixth overall in the Core League.
Sintiche Du Preez and Tyla Brown received their regional colours, while Shikira Pombo was named victor ludorum while also winning a merit certificate of beginners.
