Support the Benoni Child Welfare charity shop

By supporting the charity shop, you are also helping the organisation to continue to offer its service to the public

The Greater Benoni Child Welfare is encouraging residents to visit their charity shop, which sells quality second-hand goods at discounted prices.

The charity shop, situated at One Third Avenue, Northmead, is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm.

Items sold include clothing (men and women), shoes, furniture, bedding sheets, make-up kits, toys, puzzles and electrical equipment.

According to child welfare’s fundraiser and events planner, Jackie Spamer, the goods that they receive are from generous members of the public who donate to the organisation.

“When we receive the goods we make sure they are in good standard to be sold. We have wonderful team who sort through the donations and sell them in the shop,” said Spamer.

Anyone in possession of unwanted goods, which are in a good condition, is urged to donate them to the shop by visiting them or phone 011 849 5241.
