Libraries partner with UNISA

Access to UNISA study material now available at your local library.

In celebration of library week, recently, the Ekurhuleni Metro has partnered with UNISA to provide access to academic books.

Through the partnership the distance learning tertiary institution will provide access to library material as well as library literacy training to library staff and patrons.

“Patrons who are UNISA-registered students will now be able to have academic books couriered to their nearest library, ensuring easy and convenient access to study material,” said the metro’s Library Information and Educational Development manager, Zukiswa Peter.

“In addition, library patrons who are not registered with the learning institution will be trained on how to access UNISA online material that may not be available from their local library at the time of their request.”
