Flying squad arrests

The suspects aged between 22 and 41 will be appearing in the Tembisa and Boksburg Magistrate’s court.

Members of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) arrested four suspects and recovered two vehicles during routine operations, from April 13 to 16.

Three suspects were arrested on charges of being in possession of drugs, reported Warrant Officer Grant Giblin, BFS spokesperson.

Arrests were made in Ivory Park Extension two as well as Kaalfontein Extension 1 and 22.

Cocaine, heroine and Mandrax were recovered in the separate incidents.

“On April 16, officers assisted members of a local security company in the arrest and detention of a suspect, in Davids Street, Dunswart,” said Giblin.

“The man was found inside a private property with two grinders.”

In further policing, two abandoned vehicles, which has been reported as stolen, were recovered

A white Hyundai Accent was found on the R555, Etwatwa while a white Ford Ranger was found in Tendekwane Crescent, Voslosrus.
