A 31-year-old man was shot and killed outside a pub in Daveyton on April 16.
According to the Daveyton SAPS spokesperson, Ntando Ngomane, an on-duty police officer received a call from the Daveyton Main Clinic about a man who had been shot.
“The victim had sustained two gunshot wounds to the upper body and was taken to hospital by his friend. He was declared dead on arrival,” said Ngomane.
A 44-year-old man was arrested, charged with murder and has appeared in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court.
