The AC Guardian Foundation writes:
We heard Ekurhuleni municipality wants to give agricultural land to NPOs.
Do you know anything about this?
As a NPO and would like to apply for it.
Editor’s note: City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini responded: The city is not aware of land in Benoni for agriculture promised to NPOs. Applications for council properties are facilitated by our Property Management Division. Interested parties should enquire and lodge an application at the Benoni Customer Care Centre if the property in question falls within the catchment area. Should the application be successful, agricultural development support should then be applied for, in which support would be facilitated should the property in question be zoned and used for agricultural development.
