Shrek the Musical is about to hit the stage in Benoni!
There are 52 cast members and 150 costumes for this production!
Protea Stage Productions’ Shrek the Musical will be on stage next month, with their biggest cast in any production to date.
Chairperson Lynsay Jonker explains that the show has two casts – the same cast members used in different roles, to give them more opportunity.
“Apart from having a total of 52 cast members – our biggest yet – we have close to 150 costumes for this production!”
She added the production is being presented by arrangement with DALRO (Pty) Limited, representing
Music Theatre International (MTI).
Show dates:
• Friday, August 21 at 19:00
• Saturday, August 22 at 14:00 and 19:00
• Friday, August 28 at 19:00
• Saturday, August 29 at 14:00 and 19:00
