I am staying in Acorn Avenue, Benoni Agricultural Holdings.
I go through the same hell as “Concerned plot dweller”, except that I am concerned for the poor victims, like us.
These dogs have been roaming the street since 2011.
I have visited the SPCA twice in this regard, in June, 2011, and have phoned them numerous times.
Their answer is that they cannot do anything about these dogs.
My own sheep have been attacked twice by these dogs.
During this past week an emu was killed.
My family is constantly tired because of absolutely no sleep at night, as these dogs are at my gate at intervals of 10 minutes, from 10pm to 4am.
Need I say more?
This is the perfect opportunity for job creation.
The SPCA can appoint a dog patrol that can take these dogs off the streets and out of the hands of irresponsible owners.
