Reading the front page story (BCT April 12), in connection with the absenteeism at a high profile meeting, goes to show how corruption is evident in the police force.
I’m glad to see that Gen Mzwandile Petros is aware of what goes on.
They must relieve any corrupt policemen or women of their position with immediate effect.
As a chairperson from Orlando, in Soweto, stated: “Don’t move corrupt police officers to other stations”.
Because of some bad apples in the force, one cannot be guaranteed that you are going to get the service you require when reporting an incident.
Let’s hope that there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
