Thanks for the warmth and kindness towards cat

I wish to thank the woman in Stokroos Street who rescued our cat after her dogs chased it into their icy cold pool, at 5am, on the coldest day of the year.

The kind woman took care of our cat and then took the time to approach all the neighbours to find out if they knew whose cat it was.

Eventually, when she found us, her words were: “If this was my cat, I would have expected someone to do the same for me.”

We need more people like this in the community.
